The Charleston Area Arts Council is devoted to promoting the visual arts community of the greater Charleston, SC area. Unlike the typical arts council, CAAC will act as a supporting partner with existing visual artists, visul art organizations, commercial art galleries, and others involved in the visual arts in Charleston. This will include Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester Counties. There is not a facility or staff and there will not be any discrimination between the non-profit and commercial sectors. We want to promote the entire visual art community.
